We had to walk up a hill to see (used VAT - voice activated tripod for the shot) our first Giraffe in the wildlife. We were really touched und - unspoiled as we were - enjoyed the moment very much.

This hill hosted a WW I german defence point, conrete remains still to be seen. The feeling to not to be able to see human constructions as fas as the eye can see is hard to describe.

Just ahead of boarding the plane to Tanzania, we enjoyed the christmas version of Starbucks breakfast. Luggage checked, the carry-on was not weighed (more than 18 kg per bag with all the camera gear, the limit was 8 kg).

After the Bond film we enjoyed noodlesoup at an asian place opposite the cinema. The drinks looked strange but tasted good.
